White Funky Junk and Black Labradors

What if you are a pack animal who loves white funky junk and your housemate is a black Labrador (aka “hair factory”)?

As we see it, you have some options -- though some aren’t as attractive to your pack animal nature and proclivity to decorate your home with funky junk with peeling white paint as others.

Consider the following 3 options:

1.  Recycle the Labrador.
2.  Upcycle your funky junk décor to match the Labrador.
3.  Procure a Dyson DC25 Animal.

Let's consider the merits of each of the 3 options:

1.  Recycle the Labrador.

To non-pack animals, recycling the Labrador seems like the most viable option.  You lose the primary source of dog hair and, as an added bonus, you save money on kibble and visits to the vet.

Though to thfunky junk, funky junk show, seattle, spokane, walla walla, kennewick, tri-cities, yakima, portland, hillsboro, washington, oregonose of us with no working cable connection to HGTV, recycling the Labrador is the least viable option – a significant source of amusement would vanish if the Labrador left.

2.  Upcycle your funky junk décor to a black color palette to match the Labrador.

Upcycle the white to black . . . though black takes us out of our “light” comfort zone.  Black is too heavy of a palette, it anchors our emotions.  We think it should be used sparingly to retain the levity a joyful life needs.

3.  Procure a Dyson DC25 Animal.

This machine eats dog hair with a never before seen “furocity.” Dog hair is no match for a Dyson DC25 Animal – hands down the Dyson will win every time!

In the cateyegirls’ analysis, upgrading to a Dyson DC25 vacuum is the most viable option to maintain one's source of amusement and retain a white funky junk color palette.

With a Dyson on the job, the Labrador -- a constant reminder not to take yourself too seriously that also provides a valid reason to “play” every day -- can stay, as well as the white funky junk.

Problem solved.
