The Junk Barn Girls concocted the most wonderful, most delicious little plan for a new, farm-based, funky junk show which they executed with ease. Where are all of these talented show promoters coming from that have no connection to the vintage show world and have yet to be saved by junk.
The Junk Barn Girls, Shannon Snyder and Angela Ditchen, pulled off a wonderful little vintage / funky junk show in their community -- they seemed to know every single person who walked through the gate! The setting was wonderful, the food was delicious and the junk was scrumptious, truly scrumptious. Visit the Junk Barn Girls on Facebook and see all of the wonderful junk . . . By trade, Shannon is a photographer, so she captured the show in 2D.
We are thinking that the Junk Barn Girls Vintage Sale was so successful that they might have surprised themselves . . . Next year, same time -- the third weekend of September in the megalopolis of Hermiston, Stanfield, Pendleton!
Oh, and the diminutive little kitchen hutch (on the right, with all of the Jadite inside) that was like a magnet to anyone who loved primitives with peeling paint . . . it found a loving home with, Jacelyn, "J," who received it as a 32nd birthday gift . . . and the yellow tower on the left that everyone seemed so fond of, though wanted to stroll through and see everything before they bought anything . . . Tracy, one of our serial customers, snapped it up!
That's it, great show that we will look forward to doing again at the same place at about the same time next year.
