You find your inspiration from where ever you can . . . and right now we are inspired by one of our customer's collection of vintage kitchenware. Laurel shares our love of colorful kitchenware from the 1930s thru the 1950s, where the yellows cheer you on and the 1930s greens charm you and the reds go "pop."
We knew that she had been collecting old kitchenware for a long time so at Antiques in the Park in Richland we asked Laurel to snap some pictures of her kitchen so we could share them here . . . . What we love most about the pictures that follow is that she knows exactly what she loves, and what brings her joy. We concure . . . is there anything that excudes optimism and happiness like vintage primary colored kitchenware?
Sometimes what you love doesn't have to do anything except sit quietly in the corner and provide a little eye candy!
Very clever way to repurpose an old metal serving tray . . . mount it to the kitchen wall and use it as a message board!
Stenciled jars and cookbooks and trays . . . we think this is one happy, contemporary kitchen that sings a vintage tune!
Up close and personal you can see that Laurel also loves old cookbooks and creatively put them to use as props to help her amazing stenciled jar collection reach new "heights."
