Marrying Railroad Finials to . . . A Funky Junk Love Story
By: A Cat Eye Girl  -  6/9/2011

How might yantique shows Seattle, Yakima, Tri-Cities, Washingtonou repurpose a funky old concrete base to a bird bath who lost its top years ago?  Here is one idea for repurposing and it requires marrying two unusual funky junk elements to create some whimsical garden art.

Old railroad finials, originally used on crossing posts, fit perfectly on top of the base to an old bird bath.

The result is clever and whimsical and makes for an interesting discussion about funky junk that begins with a question like:

"Where did you find those?"

OR

"What exactly was your source of inspiration for these funky, gnome-like garden-junk statues?"

Or a folksy, yet direct:

"Where d'ya come up with that funky junk?"
