We scrambled, rallied and hit the Monroe Antique Show in the nick of time to set up and sell.  And, we are pleased that we did and here is what is of real value to you dear reader:  there are some really great vendors at this small, but well attended show.  We were inspired by some amazing displays and over the top cool old stuff -- lots of funky junk displayed in creative and inspiring ways. 

So here we are, the Tuesday before the Spring Monroe Antique Show, wishing that we had inquired about the show a little sooner to secure a spot and the phone rings.  It's Loretta Johnson, of J and M Promotions and Cobweb Antiques, saying that there had been a last minute cancellation and "can you do it?"  That's why we scrambled and rallied, we were sort of caught flat-footed.

J and M Promotions do two antique shows a year in Monroe, one in the spring and one in the fall. If you missed the spring show, plan on attending the fall show . . . it's small, but chock full of antiques, funky junk and kits and kabootles too :)
