Foam for Upholstered Funky Junk!
By: A Cat Eye Girl  -  8/7/2011

Anyone who hfunky junk, funky junk show, antique store, antique mall, kennewick, snohomish, seattle, Tri-cities, yakima, walla walla, spokane, portland, hillsboro, washington, oregonas set about upholstering funky junk or antique furniture swifty learns that foam is expensive and consumes a significant percentage of the project's budget.  Here is a little insider trade secret that should save you a little money . . .

Instead of heading to the local fabric store, get online or grab the phonebook and find a local custom matress manufacturer.  Typically, they stock foam and if they don't have exactly what you need they can order any size and type of foam from their foam supplier and have it available for you in a day or two.

Why buy your foam for your funky junk at a custom matress manufacturer?  Because you will save money . . . they typically sell foam cheaper than the national chain fabric stores and often have just the right size scrap for small upholstery projects laying on their cutting room floor -- which they sell really cheap!

You will enjoy the savings and your funky junk budget will love you for it!
